Looks like Meek Mill is finally on the path to be a 'free man,' after fighting the court systems for over a decade. The rapper has just been granted a new court hearing on July 16, which could lead to his original conviction being overturned. A few weeks ago it was announced that the Philadelphia District Attorney agrees with the rapper's legal team, that Judge Genece Brinkley was not being objective to the case.
Brinkley who has presided over his case for years allegedly asked Nicki Minaj and Meek Mill for a shoutout in a song, and also showed up to his community service.

The rapper's legal team are working to clear his name once and for all, with the overwhelming evidence of corrupt officers that already has lead to many convictions being overturned. Meek was initially charged with drug dealing & pointing a gun at a police officer, things Jerold Gibson, a police officer, also went against his partner Reginald Graham to side with Meek, agreeing with Meek's side of the story.
