Last week, 2 Chainz faced some backlash for reportedly wanting to reopen his Atlanta restaurant after Georgia government officials' decided to lift social distancing restrictions. As social media questioned why he would reopen when COVID-19 numbers still were rising, the rapper took to Twitter, announcing that instead of reopening he would be feeding the homeless.
Following the announcement of his decision to remain his restaurants closed, he uploaded a video, showing lines of homeless people outside of one of his restaurants, practicing the advised six feet distance between each other.
