Even though it's been a long time since we've seen the Power vs. Empire beef, but it isn't forgotten by either 50 Cent or Taraji P. Henson. The feud started years back when Fif called out Empire for 'copying' the Power marketing plays he used. Ever since then, Fif decided that their respective hit TV-Shows were competitors.
On that front, there have been silent for a long time, until Taraji P. Henson appeared on T.I.'s "ExpediTIously" podcast, where she discussed 50 Cent's need to make the shows "compete" with each other, "Our show has nothing to do with his show, we're talking two different subject matters," Taraji said. "Does he understand what I did to get here? Why tear down another black person for competition? There are a million other shows he can compete with? And to do that publically, it's embarrassing."

Taraji P. @tarajiphenson Joins Expeditiously "Shoot the Shit" wit us. We gots to squash this whole Power vs Empire shit... tune in to hear what else she had to say.

Knowing 50 Cent, we all know he would never let anyone take shots unaddressed, so doing what he does best he took to Instagram, penning an apology to Taraji, a very backhanded one it is. "I saw @tarajiphenson on @troubleman31 podcast, this is my sincere apology I did not mean to hurt your feelings in anyway," Fif said. "I love your work and I think you are amazing. I’m sorry no one is watching your show anymore." at the very bottom of his "apology," he had one last line, "But I really want to work with you. I mean your awesome we would work well together. But if you don’t like the idea I understand. If you don’t roll with me, your gonna get rolled the f*ck over."

I'm sorry no one is watching your show anymore.😔I realize I have to work on the fact that I have less empathy then others. I have met with the top executives at Fox and sold them(The Notorious Cop) it's the show that is replacing yours😟 but I really want to work with you. I mean your awesome we would work well together😠but if you don't like the idea I understand. 😡if you don't roll with me, your gonna get rolled the fuck over. #starzgettheapp #abcforlife Feb 11
