An NYPD investigation into police commander Emanual Gonzales has been closed. Gonzales issued a "shoot at sight" directive to 50 Cent during a meeting with other officers last year, he will, however, not face charges.
This morning (Aug. 11) New York Daily News reported the Internal Affairs Bureau closed its investigation, and no further actions will be taken. They call the threat an 'inappropriate joke' and not a serious threat.
50 Cent himself, took to social media this morning and gave his comment on the case being closed. He said, "I knew they were not going to do anything about this, so I stop talking about it. NYPD is hands down the toughest gang in New York."
