Over the weekend we finally got to see the highly anticipated rematch between Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder, the contract had a rematch clause built-in so it is highly likely we could be seeing yet another rematch in the coming future. However, the 'excuse' for why he lost the way he did is quite hilarious. According to The Athletic's Lance Pugmire, Wilder blamed his legs were weakened pre-fight due to his 40-pound costume. Both fighters had some quite interesting ring entrances Saturday night, Fury being carried in seated on a throne, while Wilder entered the arena in a 40-pound costume that he's now saying weakened his legs.

According to Yahoo Sports, about the 40-pound costume, Wilder said; “He didn’t hurt me at all, but the simple fact is ... that my uniform was way too heavy for me. I didn’t have no legs from the beginning of the fight. In the third round, my legs were just shot all the way through. But I’m a warrior and people know that I’m a warrior. It could easily be told that I didn’t have legs or anything.
