After his arrest, the Sinaloa Cartel turned the city into a warzone, torching cars and buses on fire blocking the main roads in and out of the city, videos show alleged cartel members firing .50-cal sniper rifles at the government troops from the back of armored trucks. In order to "save lives" of government troops and civilians, the son of El Chapo was let go.
