A 2017 bar about Donald Trump's daughter reportedly made the Secret Service pay Eminem a visit. According to BuzzFeed, the Detroit rapper was interviewed by the Secret Service for his 2017 song "Framed." It was reportedly a TMZ employee who alerted the White House of the lyrics about Ivanka Trump, which eventually lead to the Secret Service paying him a visit on Jan. 16 2018.
On the song "Framed," Eminem raps about being detained for a murder because of lyrics matching up with a real-life murder and he drops a line about Ivanka Trump. "Donald Duck's on, there's a Tonka Truck in the yard," He raps. "But dog, how the fuck is Ivanka Trump in the trunk of my car?/Gotta get to the bottom of it to try to solve it!" In the documents obtained by BuzzFeed, there are over 40 pages detailing the interview with Eminem and the reasoning for the investigation. In the documents, it's reportedly seen that a TMZ employee triggered the investigation, by seeking comment on the lyrics about Ivanka Trump.
