On Friday, Kanye West brought his Sunday Service to Baton Rouge at the city's Bethany Church. The rapper made his appearance for free at the Church, even covering his own travels. Event organizers, "A Nation Events" reportedly charged attendees $55 for a brunch, called the "Brunchella."Many fans took to social media and blasted Kanye West, even though he apparently has nothing to do with the organizing of the event, the organizers, however, labeled the brunch as a "fundraiser." Photos online show pretty empty styrofoam plates, which fans compare to the disaster of "Fyre Festival." Watch it down below.
What's going on at Fyre Fest South aka #Brunchella?
Bethany Church's pastor issued a statement following the controversy, saying that the church had nothing to do with the event besides allowing the organizers to use the front lawn to host Kanye's Sunday Service.
