Footage Shows Soldiers Asking El Chapo's Son To Stop Gunfire
Some first-hand footage has been released from the operation against El Chapo's son a few weeks ago, an operation that went horribly wrong. In the new footage, soldiers can be seen forcing the son of El Chapo to call his brothers of the Sinaloa Cartel in a desperate effort to call off a rescue attempt by the cartel.
In the call, his son can be heard telling his cartel hitmen to, “Call it off, please, I’ve given myself up,” before continuing, “Now stop it, calm down, there’s nothing to be done … Tell them to pull back, I don’t want this.” El Chapo's son's own attempt to calm the situation down failed, and as known ended with him being let go after cartel hitmen held soldiers hostage, used rocket launchers on a helicopter, armoured vehicles and .50-calibre machine guns.
