Jay-Z and Meek Mill are now stepping up alongside their criminal justice organization, REFORM Alliance, donating over 100,000 masks to correctional facilities all-around the U.S. -- Chief advocacy officer with the REFORM alliance Jessica Jackson spoke to CBS News, "It's a very vulnerable population. We're really worried about the number of people coming in and out of the facility, and the fact that the people living there might be sitting ducks during this pandemic."

At the moment, Prisons in especially New York City, are going through it with high amounts of cases already. 231 inmates and 223 staff members in New York City facilities have already tested positive for COVID-19.

About the urgent need for supplies in terms of masks, Jackson told CBS News, "Overwhelmingly the response was, 'please provide the masks, we really need them.' They want to protect the people working and living in the facilities," Jackson said. "I think Rikers Island especially, they are very aware the virus has hit and so many lives are now at risk."
