Kanye West Reportedly Told His Pastor Rap Is 'The Devil's Music'

Adam Tyson, Kanye West's pastor, is making his rounds speaking on his recent journey in his faith. In an interview with Apologia Studios, the pastor alleged that Kanye in the past once referred to rap as "the devil's music" while he was contemplating quitting the genre.
In the interview down below, at the 23:30-mark, Tyson speaks on the situation, "One time, he told me that he wasn't going to rap," before further explaining, "I said, why not?" to which Kanye allegedly said, "That's the devil's music." Watch it down below at the 23:30-mark.


Kanye West began attending Tyson's Placerita Bible Church in May this year, getting very close to the pastor, explaining that he allegedly was feeling the pressure and "guilt of sin" the industry had brought upon him.
