In a new video posted by the CEO of Top Dawg Entertainment, Anthony "Top Dawg" Tiffith, Kendrick Lamar responds to recent reports that he should have left TDE. In the clip posted to Instagram (Oct. 6), K-Dot tells Top to inform people to 'stop dragging his name through the mud.' "Top, you gotta stop them from smutting my name, man," Kendrick starts off in the video, "They been smutting my name all year, man. You ain't said nothing. Enough is enough, man. Got ’em saying I done shook the label and all that. They must don't know about that, that pickle juice that's under your red cap, man. About that sweat, the sweat that's holding that red cap together, reason why it don't fall off your head, man. That lubricant. You need to tell them that the reason why that cap don't fall off yo' head, man. So why would I fall off? Watching cartoons, man."
Kendrick's comments came after claims earlier this week, that he had left TDE in order to focus on pgLang, a venture he has with Dave Free, where Baby Keem is signed to. Given the conversations between K-Dot and the CEO of TDE, we must conclude that the reports of him leaving TDE simply was a rumor with no facts. Watch it down below.
