Just two days ago, Kodak Black was sentenced to 46 months in prison on federal firearm charges. In new documents obtained by Miami Herald on Friday (Nov. 15), it shows Miami-Dada State Attorney's office charged the rapper with an additional two felony counts of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. Prosecutors say he is a "habitual offender," which carries a maximum sentence of 30 years on each count.

Prosecutors reportedly filed one count for a January purchase of the gun, and a second charge for a gun he was in possession of during his arrest in Miami in May. Kodak's lawyer gave a quick statement on the new charges, "This is what happens when the government feels like they lost when a young man gets 46 months on a filing a false document," Cohen stated. "Miami has charged him with the purchase of the weapons, because of a little rarely known law if you had a juvenile prior you can't possess a weapon until you are 24. The Miami case will be dealt with very soon."
