Chicago's Lil Durk is showing his appreciation to the frontline hospital workers in his hometown of Chicago while they're fighting the coronavirus pandemic. On Friday, Durk, his team PHLAVZ Bar & Grille stopped by Rush University Medical Center in Chicago delivering packaged meals to the hospital workers on the frontline.
TMZ reports the meals were prepared by PHLAVZ, also owned by the manager of Lil Durk. An additional 100 meals were also prepared for the next shift of healthcare workers. "I been living down in Atlanta, but everyone back home has been in my thoughts, especially those doing something for the community and all the neighborhood heroes," Durk stated. "I thought about all the first responders putting their lives on the line to help out and it inspired me, so I took a jet back to Chicago to show my thanks."
