According to federal prosecutors, Mac Miller was supplied deadly, fentanyl-laced pills that contributed to his death. That's the word from the FEDS who have just charged 28-year-old Cameron James Pettit, they believe he supplied the rapper with counterfeit oxycodone pills containing fentanyl.
The prosecutors say Mac Miller asked Pettit for "percs," and was given the counterfeit pills. His overdose was ruled an accidental overdose from alcohol, cocaine, and fentanyl. Prosecutors, however, say the pills provided by Pettit contained fentanyl, cocaine and Xanax.
