Back in the 90s up until the mid-2000s video vixens were something many women inspired to be. A look at it today, many would probably consider it to be the modern-day "Instagram Model," but back then women would make big money standing next to hip hop artists in their music video. Ever since Karrine "Supahead" Steffans released her infamous tell-all book, the profession has more or less died out.
Melyssa Ford recently saw down on the Fox Soul show "Out Loud," to discuss sexualization in hip hop. On the show, Ford spoke on The Game's 2007 single "Wouldn't Get Far" where he name-dropped Melyssa, insinuating she was broke and did "Shady Favors" to further her career, "Not only have I never had a Honda Accord, at the time the song came out I was driving a champagne-colored Mercedes Benz 550," Ford said. Watch it down below.
