Earlier this week, NBA YoungBoy, was among 15 individuals arrested by the Baton Rouge Police Department. According to reports, law enforcement received calls that a large group of people was brandishing weapons while shooting a music video outside of an abandoned home. The individuals were reportedly identified on the scene, as members of two Baton Rouge street gangs: Never Broke Again and Bottom Boy Guerillas.
Reports state law enforcement arrived on the scene at 4:30 P.M. on Monday, with some people taking off running only to be apprehended not too far away while others stayed on the scene being detained and questioned. A search of three vehicles on the scene reportedly revealed marijuana and Hydrocodone, a search of other vehicles later revealed multi handguns and rifles, marijuana, digital scales, and Xanax. Nearby officers reportedly found seven firearms thrown in the grass.
Police records reveal the marijuana was packaged as if it were to be distributed. In total 16 people were arrested and a total of 14 guns were confiscated. The people arrested also carried a lot of cash authorities stated, which was seized by law enforcement. The Baton Rouge rapper was carrying $47,000. He was, however, not in possession of any firearms, instead, he is charged with possession of schedule 1 drugs, distribution/manufacturing of schedule 2 drug, and distribution/manufacturing of schedule 4 drug.
