Tekashi 6IX9INE's return to the rap game with the song and music video for "GOOBA," which made quite the noise and were discussed in all corners of Hip-Hop. His return to the rap game and social media came at a cost, as his location has been leaked two times already. The rapper was scheduled to have released yet another song at the end of May, it was pushed back due to the climate surrounding protests and the fight for justice after the murder of George Floyd, and Ahmaud Arbery.

One thing that is confirmed, is that a few days ago 6IX9INE and Akon were in the studio together. A move by Akon that since has been heavily questioned by fans and industry peers. The two uploaded clips of them in the studio working on "Locked Up Pt. 2", which many may know is one of Akon's biggest hits featuring Styles P. Fans were quick to tag Styles P, wanting to know his opinion on the two doing the sequel. "My job is 2 remind you 2 boost the immune system n not get distracted by minor things i will always consider Akon a brother but we have not spoken or seen each other In years I don’t know 6’9 meaning all 3 of our paths are different. I live by my code n don’t hold others 2 my code," P wrote. Watch it down below.
