Tay-K Sentenced To 55 Years Behind Bars
It's official, The Tarrant County Jury has given rapper Tay-K his sentence. The jury decided on 55 years in prison to the rapper, for his role in a 2016 murder that left Ethan Walker dead during a robbery.
Tay-K was given 30 years for one count of aggravated robbery and another two 13-year sentences for two other aggravated robbery charges. The jury deliberated for about three hours before they came to a 55-year prison sentence.
His behavior while he was incarcerated awaiting trial, also reportedly weighed in on his sentencing. Prosecutors brought up the fact that he was charged with possessing a cell phone inside of prison.
