Looks like the lawyer of Tekashi 6ix9ine, Lance Lazzaro, was right in his prediction that the controversial rapper would be home over the summer. Lazarro predicted in December that 6ix9ine would be done serving his 24-month sentence by the end of July. Taking a look at the Bureau of Prisons Inmate Locator, the official release date of the rapper is set for Aug. 2, 2020.
Complex reached out to his legal rep, Lance Lazarro, who confirmed that the release date set was correct. Also, the Bureau of Prisons' Public Affairs department, confirms the set release date "We can confirm, Inmate Hernandez has a projected release date of August 2, 2020." Another rep of 6ix9ine's legal team, Dawn Florio, gave a brief statement about the projected release date, "The reason why he's getting released early is because he's the perfect model prisoner."

During the highly publicized case against Tekashi 6ix9ine, he was facing 47 years to life for his role in a number of crimes alongside fellow members of the Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods. His testimony landed him an only 24-months sentence, with already 13 months served before his sentence he was originally projected to be in December 2020.
