The Game Responds To People Saying He's Exploiting Nipsey Hussle's Name

Even with The Game & Nipsey Hussle seemingly having a tight relationship before his passing, people are questioning rapper The Game's motives, from posting something related to Nipsey every day, to #MarathonMondays and most recently to announce a new record label called "Prolific Records," inspired by his "Prolific" face tattoo.
Following the announcement of his new record label, he rolled out some merch, which reportedly sold out in just a few hours, some fans were, however, not so pleased with Game's new business venture, stating that he was using Nipsey's name for profit. The backlash caught the attention of the rapper himself, who in a lengthy story post addressed the issue, "The use of the world 'Prolific' by myself is the only way of helping to carry on my bro's legacy," Game wrote. "Out of love for Nip, Blacc Sam and his immediate family etc. I purposely did not include any pics of Nip nor his likeness & directed all traffic to @themarathonclothing as I've done since bro's passing. I've spoken closely to 'Blacc Sam' every step of the way & have had his blessing with things I've done to help honor bro's name and continue his legacy." Check out Game's full post below.
