The mother of XXXtentacion, Cleopatra Bernard, is being taken to court by the mother of the rapper's half brother. According to new documents filed in Broward County court, Jodi Kavney, mother of X's half brother, Corey Pack, is taking the rapper's mother to court on behalf of Pack. In the suit, she accuses Bernard of transferring more than $11 million in assets to herself, which allegedly should have been designated to him in the future.
In the filing, they claim that X's mother has unlawfully taken $11,585,048.50 from his half brother. Per the documents, following the rapper's death in the summer of 2018, he left behind around $50 million, which since has been handled by Bernard through a trust. The trust has been overseen by his mother, who through X's company, Bad Vibes Forever, LLC, owns 50% of the trust. The other 50% of the trust should reportedly have been split between X's brother, Aiden Kerr, and half brother Pack.
"Bernard breached her fiduciary duties, engaged in self-dealing, and willfully misappropriated Estate and Trust assets, which she continues to misappropriate, while disregarding express obligations imposed upon her as Trustee, failing to follow the terms of the Trust, failing to act for the benefit of Corey as beneficiary, and failing to treat all beneficiaries impartially," documents states.
