Atlanta rapper Lil Baby is now joining the series of protest records following the murder of George Floyd in Minneapolis at the hands of four police officers. The last few weeks have brought us a series of protest records from artists like Jim Jones, Meek Mill, Trey Songz, Casanova, and last but not least now also Lil Baby. On the new song, "The Bigger Picture," the Atlanta rapper paints a picture of his own experiences with racism, police brutality, and now activism.


The intro with snippets from news reports detailing the nationwide unrest, before he jumps in rapping about his own experiences dealing with law enforcement, and the nationwide protests. “They trainin’ officers to kill us / They shootin’ protesters with these rubber bullets / They regular people I know that they feel it / These scars too deep to heal us.”
